Wavvox Technology

Encoding:  In near real time, data is encoded in media containing audio.  This is accomplished by using a spectral analysis combined with psychoacoustic masking principles that shape the data to be embedded.  The encoded audio-rich media is then broadcast or distributed by traditional digital or analog conveyance and received by one of three different methods:

1.  Audio can stream to a mobile internet device or web enabled platform (running Wavvox decoding software) whereby inaudible codes can be extracted and deciphered from the standard defined audio protocal within these devices.

2.  Audio of a given media can be received by a traditional receiver/player whose audio is in turn transmitted by speakers to a mobile internet device or web enabled platform (running Wavvox decoding software) whereby inaudible codes can be extracted and deciphered from the audio stream entering the microphone of the device.

3.  Audio can be received by an FM receiver (with associated software and antenna) built into a mobile internet device or web enabled platform (running Wavvox decoding software) whereby codes can be extracted and deciphered from the internal FM audio stream eventually processed by the device standard defined audio protocol.

Decoding:  Audio played back from Radio, TV, CD/DVD, MP3-files over the loudspeakers contains the inaudible codes, which a smart device with the activated Wavvox application can “hear” (via the device-microphone) and decode, launching events within the device or the cloud.  This interactive “convergence” between source media and smart mobile devices is considered the “Holy Grail” in communication and media!
